For our RIDE LIKE A LOCAL  Tour information and detailed trip plan please contact us

Essentials:

–   Bike (if you are not bringing your bike to Nepal you can rent bike with us please discuss it with us while booking your day trip) –  Helmet (you can rent it with us)
–  Day biking backpack (for any items you may need during your biking trip)

Core Gear:
– Water bottles / hydration pack
– Eye protection (sun glasses /riding glasses or clear lenses)
– Cycling gloves

Recommended gear:

–  Cycling shoes (any comfortable hiking shoes can do as well)

Clothings: 

  • Cycling jersey ( or any light weight, quick dry short/long sleeves top recommended)

  • Cycling shorts ( or any comfortable quick dry shorts/ light trousers recommended )

  • Cycling  or any breathable socks

  • Buff

  • Rainwear (raincoat or waterproof jacket) for the days with chances of rain

  • Jacket for chill winter mornings

Other items to consider: 

  • Sunscreen

  • Lip balm

  • Wipes/wet napkins / sanitiser

  • Bug repellent /spray (for spring & summer season)

  • Any personal medications prescribed by your doctor or anything you need to ensure your well-being during the trip

  • Camera

Good to know:

  • RIDE LIKE A LOCAL Tour  departure  is  from Thamel (tourist area in Kathmandu) and trip ends in Thamel. as well.
  • Booking should be done at list one day prior to trip departure.
  • If you need to rent bike or any other equipment for the trip please inform us while booking your trip.
  • Lunch (some traditional food of Newar people) is included in the tour (if you have allergy, food restrictions or medical diets please inform us while booking your trip.
