Ashish Shrestha

Growing up in Kathmandu Ashish was super active kid, always into different sports, enjoying being out there and explore (and he is still pretty much the same & into many adventures). Wandering around Kathmandu’s busy streets on his small simple bicycle was his favorite thing of all…Once he met his uncle’s friend who owned a MTB shop at that time …world of mountain biking fascinated him so much that he never looked back…Ashish was hooked, he spent every spare moment from the school in the workshop, helping around, learning mechanics. He soon started joining different trips with pioneers of MTB in Nepal, exploring the country on two wheels, riding bike on challenging terrains & high altitude Himalayan passes, accumulating vast experience and knowledge of the Himalayan trails, building his career as professional MTB guide.

Ashish is happiest when he is on his bike, exploring remote areas and discovering hidden gems, thriving on raw trails, going local & authentic way. He loves interacting with locals, making friends and sharing experiences, always promoting environmental awareness, nature preservation and sustainability.
With over 15 years of experience as an MTB guide, Ashish loves what he does and it shows in everything from crafting our tours, planning adventure projects, making sure all our trips operating smoothly to leading MTB expeditions in the Himalayas - whatever he does it comes with enthusiasm, dedication and with the smile. Ashish admires cultural diversity of Nepal & natural beauty of the Himalayas; he enjoys showing it to people from all over the world sharing his wealth of experience on Himalayan trails.
